Star Bourn: The Pale Horse is out now!

After months of waiting on your side and years for me, my debut novel, Star Bourn: The Pale Horse, has been released! Following the story of Captain James Severre, he must put together a new team of Star Bourn if he wants to avenge his fallen comrades. This journey will take him to the far ends of the Milky Way, and he’ll have to walk the fine line of duty and revenge, but it’s one he’s determined to walk.

Over the past couple of months, we’ve gone into the lore of some of the aliens present in Star Bourn. For this special release post, let’s talk about two of the characters you’ll find in The Pale Horse—Captain Severre and Lord Admiral Korruk. Since the first entry into the Star Bourn series has varying POVs, you’ll get a chance to follow both these men closely. Not only will you see their highs and lows, but you’ll be thrown into their cultures as well. The comradery of the Star Bourn, and the unforgiving nature of the Zauhlon Legion.

a wounded wolf yearning for revenge

Following in his late father’s footsteps, James Severre enlisted into Star Command as soon as he was eighteen years old. As elite special operators known as Star Bourn, he and his team, the Wolf Pack, were assigned the missions no basic marine could accomplish. It was hard work—borderline suicidal at times—but he loved it.

That all changed after a ghost of humanity ambushed them. After that attack left most of his team dead and one comatose, Severre is given the opportunity of a lifetime; the chance to hunt that phantom down. In order to do so, he must put together a new Wolf Pack. As much as it hurts, Captain Severre knows it’s his only shot at getting revenge.

Along the way, Severre and his new Wolf Pack will meet aliens from all walks of life, both honorable and shady. If the Star Bourn captain wants to enact revenge, he’ll need to make some hard choices. Will he be willing to compromise on his ideals, or will he keep his pride as a commando intact? Only time will tell …

a leader out to redeem his name

From birth, Lord Admiral Korruk faced hardship. That was commonplace among zauhlon society. Unlike most, he fought his way to the top of the food chain alongside his lifelong friend, Gorr. Together, they rule as lord admiral and overlord.

After leading his people into multiple wars and suffering defeat both times, Korruk is out to remind his men why he’s been lord admiral for hundreds of years. In one fell swoop, he intends to regain their respect, but also make the Galactic Republic pay.

Whether they knew it or not, the revenge of the zauhlons was at hand, and no one could stop Lord Admiral Korruk from enacting it.

Two men driven by revenge on a fated collision course.

The battle is sure to be epic, and the ramifications doubly so. Only one can emerge victorious. The question stands …
